Hi,

Have just joined this forum, and am looking forward to participation. My mother taught me to knit when I was very young, but she didn't know how to crochet, so I taught myself many years ago with the help of a book from my local library. My favorite use for crochet is afghans. I also enjoy making crocheted dish cloths. Hoping to expand my crochet skills through this site/forum.

It has been a busy few weeks around here, and I haven't had any time to "play" on the computer. I have gotten a couple of projects finished though.

Hi Lili,

I haven't done any charity projects, but I often make gifts for friends, and family. I have made several shawls in knit, and crochet. There are so many gorgeous shawl patterns out there that I 'd love to make. One of these days when I get all of my projects in waiting finished maybe I'll make a few prayer shawls for some local nursing home residents.
