Need help joining poncho
I've crocheted two panels for a poncho, but am having a problem joining them. Do I crochet them together, or sew them together with a yarn needle. I have to get this done for my granddaughter's birthday, which is the end of August. Thank you to anyone who is kind enough to reply

I don't know exactly what pattern you used for your poncho, but I've made several ponchos for my granddaughters. I used a yarn needle and matching yarn to sew my panels together. I think it's easier with a needle than to try to crochet them together. Sometimes you don't have an exact match with the stitches and the needle method gives you a little leeway. Good luck.

I agree with Annette that is easier to use the yarn needle. I think the seam lays flatter that way. Shirley
