Butterfly Afghan
Around 40 years ago I had a pattern for an afghan that was a huge butterfly. It was done in the afghan stitch, now called the tunisian stitch. Because of many moves in the military the pattern has been lost. I now have time to work on it, but can't find the pattern. Can anyone help.

Was it a square with the butterfly embroidered on it?

No, it was worked into the project. It was done with the afghan stitch and if I remember right you would have several balls of yarn hanging to get all the colors worked in.
