    Toddler sandals

I made a little swimsuit cover-up for my 3 yr old granddaughter. I wanted to make some little sandal type slippers to go with it. I am having trouble finding what I want. They are either infant or adult. I need a Toddler size 5 shoe. I found all kind of patterns and I tried using a bigger/smaller hook. Just don't look right to me. Part of the problem is I have no way to try them on her as they live in Indiana & I'm in FL. Any one have any suggestions or patterns?

You know for a toddler at the beach or poolside I would make her a pair of barefoot sandals.

Here is one from Crochet Geek (free pattern). It doesn't say what size, but it looks easy enough to make to the size you need.

Thank you for the replies. Buggainok those are so cute. I might have to try them!. Soyldp I thought about the barefoot ones and have some patterns for them. I guess I really should have had them trace her foot and email it to me. I have one sandal done and working on the second one. It is sometimes hard to get the second one to look the same as the first! LOL I already sent the cover-up off to them. It is getting late in the season but it can still be used. Thanks!
