hi, everyone. not sure i am doing this right, I just like to crochet. am up in age, use to weave baskets, am retired, thats about it.

Sounds good to me. Welcome to CT, a very friendly group of crocheters and crafters. I am also retired (lucky to retire at the ripe of old age of 47, now I am 61, where does the time go? LOL).
The majority of my work right now is for charitable organizations, with gifts for friends thrown in too. Have fun, post pictures if you can and happy crocheting.

Welcome to our group! I retired early too, in my 40's, but not by choice. (I'm in my 50's now.) I was injured at work and haven't been able to work in a number of years now. I appreciate having the time to do my crafts when I'm able and to take care of my mom now too. God always has a reason and it seems mine was to look after mom ... I am so thankful I can do that too.

craftyzip: Welcome to Crochet Talk. I am 66, retired and have four grandchildren. I made baby blankets for Project Linus and some full afghans for a boys ranch. We have a great group of people here and have a good time sharing. Shirley

Hi Dinah: There sure was a plan in your life. Taking care of your mom is very rewarding! It is amazing what you still learn about each other! My mom died very quickly and wish I had had that extra time with her. Shirley
