    Crocodile Stitch

I made my first Crocodile stitch today. I am wondering who has used this stitch and what you used it on. I love the looks of it but it seems to be rather bulky for a scarf.

Just wondering how others like to use this stitch.

I bought a booklet on the Crocodile stitch but so far haven't done it. Personally, I like it better when it is used as an edging or trim or for a small item. Otherwise, it does look overwhelming on larger items, but that is my little humble opinion.

    Hi JUdi,
I have made a scarf with the stitch, but plan on making a bag using the stitch.

Wow, I had never seen that done before. It is so different but can tell it is thick. Shirley

I used a J hook and followed a tutorial video on Youtube. I think I may try it again using a smaller hook so it isn't as bulky.

I love your pics Carynjoyb, thanks for sharing them, very pretty.

Judi, this scarf is thick, but in a cold climate this will keep not only your neck warm but your chest too. Eats a lot of yarn, but I love the look. Use a sport weight for a lighter feel and look.
