    Hi all,

    My name is Carol, I am from Long Island, New York. Newbie crocheter here, lifelong desire to learn to crochet, but was never in the right place at the right time to learn. Now I'm retired and home much of the time due to mobility issues.

    I have been desiring a friendly and helpful crochet group and I am so glad that I have found this site!

    Carol: Welcome to CT. I have been addicted to crochet for a long time and now am addicted to this site. I am 65, retired and have 4 grandchildren. In August 2012 I broke my right hip and spent months getting mobility and strength back. I started crocheting a lot at that time and found Project Linus so I have been giving the baby blankets to them. We are glad to have you join us. If you have pictures to show, we would love to see them! Shirley
