    I am a retired banker since 1997, my hobbies are reading, crocheting, searching for my ancestors, work in early voting, precinct chair for my precinct, football, baseball and keeping up with my beautiful and handsome grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am crocheting dolls clothes for my great grandaughter at this time.

    Welcome to the group! It is a pleasure to have you as a member!

    One of my goals eventually is to do some tracing of my family lines. My parents and grandparents never really talked alot about those in the family. I think it will be exciting to trace the family heritage!

    Welcome to the forum. I joined Ancestors.com for a month and found a lot of information on my mother's side of the family--not so much on my father's which is the line I concentrate more on.

    My father's side started in North Carolina (from Ireland by way of England), went to Tennessee and then Arkansas. Some went on to Texas. Where is your family from.
