    Joining Squares

I do not normally do a lot of squares, so I am wondering what is the best/or everyone's favorite way of joining squares. I am working on a baby blanket again!

this has always been a hard call for me; I usually follow the directions that comes w/ the pattern; however, I have heard of a flat braid crochet but haven't tried it. Keep us posted with what you try...happy crocheting.

I join by either slip stitch, using single crochet, whip stitching with a needle!!! XOXO

Part of the problem is that the pattern just says "crochet motifs together". I have whip stitched before, but wonder if they mean to use single crochet?

Cindy: I do the same as dayco463. I find that slip stitching them together makes them lay flatter and I can adjust as needed. Shirley

Thanks for the input. I watched some U-Tube videos on the three i was wondering about, single crochet, slip stitch and the flat braid. I have decided that I am going to do the slip stitch, mainly because it is the flatter stitch and the squares are already finished.
