    Pineapple play throw

This is my current project the pineapple play throw. I am ever so slowly getting it done.. would help if I didn't end up frogging so much....my sides keep getting wider..I have to pay better attention to my tension and how many stitches I have in each row....

Here is what I have done (after ripping out almost an entire section).

Paige: I love the pineapple pattern. I get comfortable doing one pattern and just keep it up. Not good about changing or learning new!!!!! Lili/Shirley

That is so pretty (and so complicated, lol). It deserves to be framed and hung on the wall. I very much admire folks who have the patience to make patterns like this. I love to crochet, but want something that is more or less the same stitches over and over. I know, that's boring to those who like a challenge. I change projects and colors of yarn, but don't like changing from row to row.

That's why I'm crocheting a rag rug right now. You just single crochet around and around in a spiral until you're done!

I agree Annette! That way I can do a very other things at the same time and not have to remember where I am or count stitches! Shirley

Lovely Pineapples! I've not seen them done on a square piece . My Gram did a lot of Pineapple doilies.
