    Hot off my hook

    Made this purse for my grand niece Elena..and watermelon pot holder for me..lol

    The purse is not the same one I am doing for yard sale..this is a creation I did from my head..no pattern..but I will post up the other one..working on it now

    oh and fyi..the reason the pot holder is standing up like that is I stuffed it. I did it in hdc and sc but I felt it would even be better with a little stuffing.

    At W M you can get a baby crib size of COTTON batting that is used for quilts and it will NOT 'melt' like acrylic yarn will when it gets hot. Great for potholders and hot pads. Ya Done Good! The bigger the flower the better I like it. You are on a roll. I am still working on my bath room stuff and am using the Astrakhan Stitch and it is a yarn eater. Using cotton. Need to start another project, getting tired of this one. But am almost thru with it, so will finish it. Hugs!

    I didn't use batting at all..I had something handy here ..but can't tell you here about it..I used for clean stuffing..it is a recycled material let just say..lol
