glad to hear from everyone I like to crochet baby dresses and lately I did an afghan for Children Miracle Network to raise money for children in need for medical so far we have raise close to $7,000 our goal is to raise at least $10,000 which us lot in reaching our goal. This is thru my work we doing this every year. Hope to hear from everyone on idea for next year for CMN.

Hi there and welcome! Way to go with the fundrasier. Totally awsome! I'm sure others will come along and have a bunch of ideas but the only things I can think is the afghans maybe in a theme like the American Flag, or the Tree of Life and auction them off. But you already said you did an afghan. I'm not on my game today. So I'll just say welcome and hope you will stick around and get to know the lovely people on this site. They will have much better ideas than I have. So welcome and I'm so glad you found us.

Twocoolmom: Welcome. I am 65 and retired and make baby blankets and other afghans for Project Linus. I recently made a red, white and blue afghan to be given away in September 2013 to a veteran and/or survivor of 9/11. Will try to upload pic.
