    Barbie Doll Crochet

When my little brother (aged 60) was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I had a hard time with anxiety, sadness and stress and so that's when I picked up my crochet again. Cancer is a brutal disease and affects not only the person with cancer, but everyone that cares about that person.

I learned to crochet (a chain) at around 5 yrs old, but only crocheted occasionally during my child rearing years.

My brother has passed now, gone almost a year, but this was my therapy during that time and after his passing. Crochet allowed me to clear my mind of sadness for periods of time and was very helpful to me.

I am working on a Barbie bride doll outfit now so until I run out of room for them, I will keep crocheting. lol

How Beautiful!!! Crocheting is a wonderful stress reliever, isn't it? I know it has helped me tremendously. You did a fantastic job. As long as Barbie and little girls are around, I don't believe you will run out of ideas of things to make.--Jan

Great job. I have to agree, I use crochet as stress reliever and therapy also. What fun.

If you need ideas about what to crochet for Barbie, just type in Free Crochet Barbie Clothes. You will get about a gazillion sites for them, anywhere from very basic crocheted clothes to the most elaborate costumes you could ever imagine. The problem you will have is deciding which ones to start with. Good Luck!--Jan
