went garage selling today!!

I went to community garage sells today and got a great buy today.. a tub of crochet thread 19 of them, (all new) and 2 bags of cotton yarn (I'm thinking dishcloths) all for $7.00. Now I'm all set for when winter sets in this year,, crochetting by a warm fire. lol

LOVE deals like that. My yard sale score this weekend was some crochet magazines....19 mags for a dollar! One of them was for a sampler afghan...63 different squares/patterns.

MeerKat, I am making hat pincushions for xmas gifts this year, sometime this year I want to master the pinapple doily. maybe I will have better luck. I've tried many times, but just can't understand the instructions, I think these doily are beautiful.

KathyL, Hey,, My middle name starts with a L.... don't ya love it when you find something you love really cheap?? I have loads of crochet mag. on my bookshelfs. sometimes I can spend hours looking at them.. I will be digging them out agan soon to see if I can find something I like to use my thread with..
