My masterpiece

Here is the project I have been working on for so long! I put some writing on the back side too, even tho it will not be seen once it is hung on the wall.. This will hang above the one that says Amazing Grace. Attachment 4536Attachment 4537Attachment 4538
The one that says" thru the years with...." will hang above the board that says "Amazing Grace" and the other one is just the back side of the scroll and will not be seen after she reads it and hangs up the scroll side. I am glad this is DONE!!!! it measures 14 inches by 22 inches in size with every single hole covered with a single stitch of yarn. I used a cross stitch pattern to form the letters and then I had to figure out how to do it on canvas!

Thanks she is a very smart lady. She managed the main office of the bank we worked at for so long. I think it will be more than what she expected. I will let you all know.

You know the term "frogging" doesn't only apply to our crocheting.... I did an awful lot of frogging on my plastic canvas project too. I don't know how many times I took out All of the scroll part of it until I got it like I wanted it. And the letters were not that easy either. try converting a cross stitch pattern for letters to plastic canvas. it's not as easy as you think until you get the hang of it. But it was a fun project and I am glad I gained whatever knowledge I did by doing it. Now that it's finished I am not sure where to go next. Back to the coat or probably to something for our sale and very quickly too. I don't remember the cut off time was for our projects for the sale. maybe I can whip up something easy and fast!!
