Help! I Think I'm Addicted!
I think I've become addicted to making pincushions. Right now my brain can't seem to follow a written pattern, so I've been pretty much free-forming it. I went digging in my big box of craft supplies that people have given me that I haven't figured out what to do with, and found a couple pairs of tiny doll shoes, so cute! I don't have any dolls tiny enough to wear these shoes, but my jumbled mind had a brain-storm! Why not make a pincushion out of them. Here's my first attempt. What do you think? I'm not real happy with the way the lace trim turned out, used embroidery floss for both the 'sock' and the trim, should have used size 20 thread for the lace, I think.

Omg these are so adorable..my grand daughter has tons of little shoes..gonna steal a few pair when she is done with them..and I will have a great keepsake from her. I can also get some from the baby thrift shop to make to give away..that is too cute..thanks for sharing this. You did a nice job on those and I can see why you are addicted.

More pincushions...
More little pincushions that I've made from size 10 thread. The Popping Flower one is 2.75 inches square, and the Daisy one is 3.25 inches in diameter. Making pincushions is kind of silly for me, considering how badly I sew
Guess I'll just have to find some friends who sew and are looking to adopt a pincushion!
