    Introduce myself - Lsue

    Hi,

I am a long term crocheter. I am recently retired and have time to do more. My daughter is expecting our second grandchild and I am making an Owl afghan. It's a simple pattern and works up fast. However, I have a question. There are small pieces to attach - beak, feet, wings, etc. How do I attach those safely and looking ok on the back side? I know someone has the answer.

    Thanks

I use a long piece of yarn tail to sew them on with and I try to not go through the thickness of the piece. You know leave a long tail and use it to sew the pieces on. Did I confuse you rather than help? Also meant to say Welcome and the more you participate the more fun it is.
