drop stitch

someone was asking what a dropstitch was. I am in the process of cleaning up my favorits on my pc and came across this. ( Drop Stitch - The drop stitch will be worked below the two previous row of shell stitches. Wrap the yarn over the hook, insert the hook 2 rows below, between the shell stitches, pull the yarn up. Repeat one more time for a total of 5 loops on the hook.)
Crochet Geek - Free Instructions and Patterns: Abstract Crochet Cats - I so would like to make this, this has the drop stitch in it. (this afghan is all cats, love it!)

She was confused with the Drops patterns and the stitch. I knew I had heard that stitch before. Thanks for posting it.
