I just made a runner rug like this one, only mine is made with 2 strands of worsted acrylic in lots of different colors. And I made mine for my hallway. It's 10 feet long by 2 and a half feet wide. It worked up really fast and it's great that I just have to throw it in the washer and dryer.

I took pics of it with my iPhone but for some reason I can't get the pics to send to my computer. Ugh, I'm so technically challenged. When I figure out what's wrong with my phone photos, I'll post my own rug for y'all to see.

This is such a great idea for kids! When my boys were growing up I had an old sleeping bag "the picnic blanket" that I'd put on my living room carpet for them when we had movie nights. They could have their popcorn and drinks with no worries about anything staining the carpet. Thank you for sharing!!

I really love the rug. Doesn't it slip around on the floor though?
I'd love to make one but with my luck I'd trip over it. LOL Thanks for the pattern and picture. Betty
