New hat!
Had a brilliant idea to use the rest of this yarn to make a hat. I found a pattern but once I got to the band part it wanted to add 64 rows... Yeah I wouldn't have enough yarn for that lol. So I changed the pattern, though it still looks similar. I like how it turned out. Only took last night and today to crochet.
That is me modeling the hat. Yes, I look like I'm 14 LOL.
I also used this yarn previously to crochet a cowl. I posted that in the past though.
Kinda sad though, I don't know what kind of yarn this is and I really do like it. I got it at the thrift store so there were wrappers or anything.
p.s. I recently got new glasses. Aren't they awesome? I like the red!

I really like that hat; the texture and the button really do a great job; happy crocheting indeed.

Thanks everyone! Here is the original pattern: Simple Beans: Durango + Robin's Egg = my new hat! I found it on ravelry. I added a couple rows with the FPDC and for the band I SC all the way around but instead of joining it I chained eight, turned, and SC back around. Did that until my yarn was gone.
