My home and yard
This is the grapevine ball (more oval than round) I made from material in the woods behind my home. These are fuchsia plants that I have started from cuttings of a plant that my daughter gave me for Mother's day 4 years ago. I can't believe I have kept it alive and I am able to take take cuttings. This a picture of my front yard and under those trees is my grandfather's old home now lived in by Rip VanWinkle my first cousin. The scraggy plants are rose of sharon that volunteered and I am donating to Kaye. I want the yard to be open. Then we have a picture of my back yard and the fire pit I am doing with an old grill as the center to keep the wood off the ground. I plan to make stone pads for the swing and chairs and another for the dining table and another around the fire pit. The last is my front porch and my flower beds in front of the porch. The roses are coming out the hydrangeas also. Hope it looks as good as last year.

Thanks everyone. This is the smallest home I have owned with one of the biggest yards. Last year Rip (cousin)mowed it for me. Hope he is planning to do that again. I can do it but it takes me an hour or two and it takes him 30 minutes.

Come on down!! I have an extra room with a double bed and a single. We can sit on the porch and watch the one car an hour go by! lol The funny thing is if one of my dogs get loose then a car goes by. It never fails and it scares me to death. I lost a puppy last year when my baby got loose for about 3 minutes and was run over. If not for all the sweet people on here I might have gone crazy but they were all here for me. I wish I could share some cuttings with ya'll. Is there a way to mail cuttings and keep them alive? I have cuts and scapes all over my legs from weeding and moving rocks around. Usually I am sitting in the recliner crocheting but I have really been outside a lot in the last few days and I am having a hard time finishing the santa coasters. I have 22 almost done maybe 2 more days. UGH!!
