    Jim's project

Here is the old volkswagon my son is painting. He still has to attache the hood and trunk lids and it will be done. I forget what years this car is but it is somewhere between a 1950 and 1979 model. It is gorgeous! I am proud of him. He does the best painting of anyone around here! This is my recovered alcoholic son ... going into his fourth year of sobriety!! Attachment 3775

Me too! He is such a good painter. He has painted cars, boats, trucks and even a motorcycle I think. Everyone loves his work. He is very particular about how he does them. If it's wrong or he doesn't like it he will won't let it go till it's right!!

That is very pretty. I love the color. As they say your kids will always be your baby and I know you must be proud of him and so thankful for his sobriety. I wish he lived close enough. I would check with him on painting my husbands truck. He has a 95 Dodge Ram that is his baby. lol It still runs like a top and he takes good care of it but it needs a paint job. I tease him and told him he washed the paint off of it.
