Baby sweater chain ties
I am making baby sweaters with chain ties and if I cut the unchained part off, they want to come untied. Has anyone found a solution for this? Thanks for any help.

I removed my comments because the other ladies had such better responses. Good luck.

Try going to YouTube, look up "Crochet Geeks crochet cord" and there is a nice cord for such things. She may give some info on doing something other then tying a knot or melting the end. It is a pretty cord too.

Have you tried the I Cord? I don;t remember who posted this on Crochet Talk, but I tried it and it works. Keep your stitches tight. Hope this helps.

I recently made a baby sweater and i made a crocheted chain also, but at each end I crocheted a small flower so the chain would not pull out. It also helped with the ends. Hope this is of help to you. Happy crocheting
