    Easter Eggs!

    Good afternoon, ladies.

I wanted to share my latest project - Crocheted Easter Eggs!

They turn out really cute, and you can use up all those leftover bits of yarn. I've made a bunch and I'm going to put them in a basket with candy and give them to my grandkids. Much more fun to play with and hide than plastic eggs. And they can even throw them at each other, lol.

Kathy, be sure to have a stitch marker or safety pin handy for working in the round. I also found it helped to keep track of which row I was on by using a piece of scratch paper and writing down how many times I had repeated the pattern. Spiral crocheting is easy, but it can really get confusing if you are interrupted and lose your place!

Thanks, I have a counter and always use a piece of yarn to mark the rows. sometimes when they are in rounds I just add up the rolls and just crochet away.. but that doesn't work when you have someone come in to talk to you, then you really loose count and have to start over. lol

Those are SO cute!!! And what a nice gift to give to a child without the worry of them hurting themselves or making a mess. With a beautiful crocheted basket, what a PERFECT gift. You did good!!!!--Jan
