Crochet freak from Kentucky...

Hi everybody! i'm Joetta, I'm 46 and live in Western Ky. I have been crocheting for about 10 years. I mostly make afghans and hooded scarves. I've started in on next Christmas making hooded scarves for friends/family. They go fast and they're fun/easy. I always have an afghan underway, i enjoy doing intricate patterns, I get bored with repetitive stitching. Have several afghans started and alternate to keep from getting bored.

I'm a mother of 2 grown boys, married, I'm a nurse (20years now), work in Long-term care...I ride motorcycles with my husband and am a new rider, just bought a brand new Harley last Sept. Learning to ride it. Can't wait for spring/summer. I just lost 65 lbs, had Gastric Sleeve Gastrectomy Aug of 2012, to lose weight. I am at my goal and feel great.

I needed something to do besides eat these days, so I've decided to start crocheting more. I love sharing intricate patterns. The most challenging project I've made was a Christening gown. I made it for a babydolll I have. It's very lacey and HEAVY... I love it, it was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it alot....
