Yarn needed

Hello everyone.

I am looking for yarn for making or embellishing hats and scarves I make for children in the ghetto of New York City. If you have a fair amount of good quality yarn and you don't live too far away, I would be willing to reimburse your postage. I'm also looking for fairly simple hat and scarf patterns. I especially could use some patterns for hats ages 10-16. Please look at my introducing myself post for more on me and my ministry to the poor.

Hello Katie: Have you called local churches to ask their congregations for their long forgotten yarn stashes hidden in basements and attics? Also, I crochet for the United Way which actually provides yarn to me. I did that and the results were amazing!!! Good luck to you!! United Way
