Who has Military in their Family?
Hey, yawl!!
Active, retired, inactive, deceased.
It ALL matters!!
I have an aunt on my Father's side who is a retired Lt. Colonel and my father was a WW2 veteran. One of his brothers was also, he as well as my father are both deceased.
Please share with us, this is so important to recognize service to our country and our freedom!!
Foreign wars are also important, so really anyone of us who has military in their family, please share with us.
XOXOXOXO

My father-in-law was in WW2 and my daughter joined the army out of high school. She was in Afghanistan and Iraq. My favorite picture is that of her sitting on
Sudam Hussains throne- Now that's woman power!! She is out now but it took it's toll.

My father, cousin, and brother were all in the Army. My brother made a career out of it and has been a Police Officer since retiring from the force.

It's me! I was in the US Army serving as a nurse during the Viet Nam war era. Loved it. Have been out awhile and that's a secret as to how old I might be. My sister also served but not at the same places, field, or time. Nice to know, I'm not alone.
Thanks to all of your family for their service.

My dad was a Command Sergeant Major in the Army. He served in WWII and Korea. He is deceased now, but I am thoroughly proud of his medals and all the time he spent (30 years) serving his country.

My dad was a marine and his only brother was army. all 4 of my moms brothers were in the service. not sure which one they served in, would have to look in family tree to see what they served in. she had 9 sisters and I think 7 of the husbands served. My brother couldn't join because of a hearing problem.
Have a Great Day !!! Kathy
