Just Finished This Lapghan
I just finished this lapghan yesterday from the pattern Drop In The Pond (found on Ravelry). It's the third lapghan I've made from this pattern, I just love it!

Beautiful! You do really really nice work, excellent choice of colors. Wonderful piece!
I would love to make one of these, but I'm so leary about having to change colors so may times. :/

Thank you, Shelley! The nice thing about this lapghan is that it's basically a granny square, so changing colors is fairly easy. I just end off the one color and start a new one, crocheting over my ends as I go.

Marjorie, I just happened to run across this exact same pattern on YouTube. It's a very detailed video tutorial. The pattern is called "Drop in the Pond." I just might have to make one of these.

Marjorie, yes I watched most of the first part, she has 3 different videos posted for instructions on making your lap afghan. The first one is 40 minutes long, she's very thorough and explains everything in very simple terms. I have a really good laptop its only a few months old (at least according to both my almost-grown boys who really know a lot about computers, they told me it was the best I could buy). Still... my computer locks up several times during almost every video I watch. :/ I sat there, very patiently, this morning watching her video because I really wanted to see what she was doing. It's such a beautiful pattern! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

I love your work! Is you lapgan one piece? I can see you have to change colors but no sewing together right? I just love it.
