hi welcome, the magic ring is another way of starting out your project without doing a chained slip stitch circle.

Howdie and welcome;as for the magic ring....I had to google it, it claims to be an easier way to make an adjustable ring...ie keeping the middle tight...looks pretty neat; thanks for posting that question....
