    Unplanned Shopping Trips

Shopping is a hobby I simply love! As I worked on my laptop last nite, the thought hit me that I wanted to go shopping. I just didn't want to drive! Out of no where in less that 10 minutes; my older daughter approached me and asked me did I want to go shopping! How about that? Thank you God! He answers prayers; He knows our every thoughts!

Here's what I bought at Big Lots:

    *assorted acrylic beads
    *scrapbooking paper
    *stickers and letters
    *fat quarter quilting fabric
    *organic potting soil
    *flower pots

I resisted buying more yarn until I use up quite a bit of my own stash. So I stood and looked, felt the different textures and thought about projects I've made in particular colors and yarn types. That filled my appetite!

On Tuesday, I bought these items at the 99c Store in Fort Worth(out of town):

    *design-your-own valentine cards
    *large calendar
    *potpourri air freshner
*shelving paper for my unused baker's rack to store my yarn
    *candle holders for valentine decorating
*plush heart-shaped pillows for valentine decorating
    *valentine gel clings
    *valentine message-in-a bottle(ssshhhhhhhh it's a gift for my hubby!)

Now, I must write a list for my next shopping excursion or shop by sight!

I went on a shopping trip to the 'city' yesterday and spent more than I intended to. Only bought 2 balls of yarn but got several books and they are not cheap!

We might bump into each other one day at the store as you live in Texas too! Then we can "shop 'til we drop!" lol

I just got back from Dollar Tree!...unplanned too, thanks to my older daughter. I was going to pick up dinner and she needed to stop by Dollar Tree. She drove and I rode. I love being a passenger. This is what I got: veggie seeds, dill pickle spears and giardiniera(pickled mixed veggies).
