I am a retired mother and grandmother to 4 precious grans (ages 6, 5, 4 and 3). I love to sew, machine embroidery/monogram, crochet and I try quilting. In the summer months I can veggies and make jellies/jams.

Welcome to the best group on the web! I see also that you can. I did apple butter once and loved it. My mom canned veggies also and made jellies..and jams..I loved it as a kid growing up. I am older but don't can as I don't have a garden..but I may do some more apple butter this coming year..if I can get to the orchard where apples are a little cheaper to buy. I always think anything homemade is better it always taste better to me. If I ever get my apple butter done this fall..I'd be willing to swap some for some home made jam..lol..hugs Anne
