Need Help To understand - Questions I have about the site???!!
Please, as a fairly new person, I have some questions.
1. What quailifies you as: Junior Member, Member, and Senior Member?
2. When I look back at my posts, I don't see my picture that I added to my profile. Can everyone else see it, or did I do something wrong in posting it?
Would appreciate help in answering these questions. May be more later.
Thanks ahaed of time!

Hi, Karen!!
You have to have a certain number of posts, I think, to become a Senior Member. Barbara can answer that better than I can.
On your pic, if you go to your settings page, look up towards the top of this page on the right, you'll see the SETTINGS link. Once you are on the Settings page, if you look on the left side you'll see a large rectangle shaped box titled My Settings you'll see Edit Avatar. The avatar is what shows up in our posts. Click on Edit Avatar and it walks you through the instructions on how to set your avatar.
I hope this helps you!!
Happy Crafting,
Landon

Okay. Landon, I did what you said. I clicked the edit avatar; clicked the custom avatar and uploaded my pic which is only 19.4 KB and it never saves it when I ask it to save it. It goes back to the no avatar button.

Your file could be too big..or you are adding a picture to your profile page..not your avatar. Or maybe even it it isn't the right format..ie jpeg, or gif, or png..it may not work. Good luck..I hope I helped..hugs Anne

The avatars pic need to be something like 140 pixels by 140 pixels. Did you see an error message? I am thinking it would tell you why it didn't take? If you want to, can you post the pic on this thread and I will resize it for you. They need to be pretty small!

I did re-size the original picture and saved as a jpeg. The size is 4-1/2 by 3-1/2 and is only 19.4 Kb. That's why I couldn't understand why it didn't take it. It did not give an error message. It just went back to the original screen after I did the save.

Is it at or under the 140 by 140 pixel size? A jpeg works. Can you take a screen shot of the page that you see immediatly (sp??) after you save it?
