Finally Finished Crocodile Stitch Prayer Shawl
I wore my shawl to church this past Sunday. This was the day we prayed over all the Prayer Shawls we had made. I had decided that I would not give this one away. I'm going to keep it, unless God directs me to do otherwise. I actually DID give it away to a very close friend who recently suffered 2 major strokes. Through lots of prayers she is going quite well. She has a prayer shawl but I felt compelled to give it to her. She later came and wrapped it around my shoulders and said that she felt that there would come a time when I would need the prayers just as much as she did.
The shawl is big enough so that the ends hang down in front. It is very warm! I'm showing the full view and a closer view of the stitches.
I have been asked if I can make this from others in the church. Oh boy! I think I started something!!! Hope you like!

I like it. I am making a scarf with the crocodile stitch. Using Lion Brand Amazing yarn and it is very pretty. You did a great job.

Thank you. I'm working on a rectangular shawl this time around. I'm using all muticolor yarns on it. I'm always trying something different and I love colors. My next project will be doing a shawl using the Jacob's Ladder stitch. That idea came from this forum.
