    Flying Pigs

Flying Pigs-dscn0180-jpgFlying Pigs-dscn0182-jpgFlying Pigs-dscn0181-jpgI was trying out a pattern for 4-sided cord when i looked at it and it looked just like a pigs snout, so i kept going to make a piggy, and when i got to the part where i crocheted extra for the front legs they bent back ( now i looked at it and i knew it wouldn't stand up right, but the legs looked so cute i left it alone and didn't try to "fix" it. when the pig was through it looked like a baby pig lying on its side and i picked it up and it looked like it was flying so... i made it some wings.

The pink pig( 3") is the original, done in thread, the gray one(7 ") is the only yarn i had . Tie a ribbon to the center of the wings and they hang level(sheer luck that !) So far this is the only flying pig i have ever seen, and i made it up myself.

It's cool when something you didn't plan turns out to be something entirely different and looks great!

Thanks to you all that liked my flying pigs ! I wrote down the pattern when i crocheted the second pig. If anyone wants it , i'll post -it's a lot of typing otherwise.I'm a one-finger typist.
