Hope she lets you know sooner than my niece did. She was having her 3rd baby, one of those forgot to take her pills babies. Anyway, I had made blankets for the other two so knew I had to make one for this one. I ask her to tell me what color she wanted and I would make it. I ask a couple times and she had not decided what she was doing her room in. She let me know about the 1st of January and the baby was born on the 21st. I got it done and to her before the baby was born, Rachael Olivia, 6 pounds 9 ounses and 19 inches long. Most importantly healthy. Oh she wanted, pink, brown and green. It actually turned out prettier than I ever imagined it would. Good luck.

Yes Barb, I am just going to start crocheting and see what happens,might ust shell stitch or just might use ripple.The baby is not due till July so the blanket does not need to be heavy.
