Help with an ocean or sea pattern
My daughter wants an afghan for her Fl home and I have had no luck with a pattern. She wants shells and sea life on it and I know I could do a filet but I don't like them so if any of you have seen a pattern about the sea or sea life please let me know. I found one and I tried to post it but I didn't do it right. Will try again and hope it works. Thanks

Would a sea gull on a wooden post do? I've seen those and you can always make it w/ yarn....

You could do an afghan with plain granny squares and add sea life applique's to every other square? Just an idea and I think you could find some appliqué patterns on Ravelry.

Oh my goodness, ya'll are way more ambitious than me. I was hoping that there was a pattern with sea shells that you make by crocheting puffs or something. I have a picture of one with all the ocean things like anchors, pelicans, lighthouses and such but it is very busy looking and it sells for $8 or $9 and I HATE to pay for patterns when so many are free. I may have to do it but I won't like it! lol

Faye hon..I found another that I just love..it is not exactly beach but can be turned into it by replace colors of brown to blues..
