It's time to eat...so what's cooking!
I haven't been cooking much at all lately. I miss cooking those nutritious meals! Cooking became a hobby for me in January 2012. In fact, I still have a new blender and deep fryer still sealed in their boxes! I don't want to forget all that I've learned so I need to get back to cooking!

I'm in the kitchen prepping to bake 2 sweet potatoe pies. My hubby's favorite!
What about you?

That sounds delish Landon! Got in the kitchen, saw I had stripped some collared greens 2 days ago and I've got them cooking now! Well, now that means cornbread doesn't it! I only came in here to make 2 sweet potatoe pies!smh & lol At this rate, I'll have a full course meal! I did bake some chicken a couple of days ago.

Walmart sells a salsa under the Great Value label that is Black Beans and White Corn. I LOVE it!! I eat a lot of it, LOL It is good to add to bean dishes and even spagetti.

Actually, today was spontaneous day...PIZZA; I had planed to have 'fresh' tuna....a friend went deep sea fishing, rice and homemade bread. But, low and behold ran into a pizza shop on the way to the food store, and there was a coupon and viola pizza night.

I made potato soup last night, and we are having leftovers tonight. We did not have a good experience last time freezing potato soup; just did not taste good. This time, we made a smaller batch, ate it after done and put the rest in the fridge for the next night.

From experience and reading older cook books, soup tastes better the second day from the fridge. Hugs.
