    Red Heart Infinity scarf

    Hello,

    Help with this pattern. I bit off a bit more than I can crochet. I am confused at row 20. Is there a video of how to transition to the mesh part. Thanks

    Hello,

    Welcome to the group! I am assuming these are the instructions you are using: http://www.redheart.com/files/patterns/pdf/LW2516_0.pdf

    I am not the most talented crochet person here. At the end of row 20 it tells you to turn and then do 40 dc. Row 21 begins with ch 3, then dc in the second dc (skip first one), and continue on with your crocheting.

    What were you having problems with? I would continue with your instructions and put it out of your mind you are doing a different section which creates a mental road block at times.

    Hi Gloria and welcome!! With your pattern: in Row 21 you are dc in every other dc, with a chain in between. In Row 22 you are dc in each ch i space-where you had a ch 1 in Row 21! you are doing dc in ch 1 space, ch 1, dc in next ch 1 space, across the row! Does that make any sense to you?? Maybe someone else can explain it better!
