    Men's Irish Crochet Cardigan pattern

I have been using Irish aran fisherman's crochet for years; the best for Men's cardigan is Leisure Arts Leaflet #151 "Original Fisherman Crochet for the family." It is hard to find but out there. People never believe it is crocheted - it always come out great.

Just found the book on Amazon, unfortunately my PITA brother wants a cardigan and I am no good at remaking patterns, I need to follow directions, but thanks for the info. I can't believe how hard it is to find aran crochet patterns whether it's for babies (not afghans), women or men. But men' patterns are really hard to find. Tried to make the hubby socks - haven't been that frustrated in years. Gave up for the time being, will try again in a couple of months. Will keep doing the donation crochet for right now till I find something else that piques my fancy so to speak. Again, thanks.

Alice54 don't give up; maybe you can find a sew pattern and crochet to that....I know you said you need instructions, I feel safer w/them, but I did make a shirt w/just the pic so if you need any help w/the neck and sleeve holes take them from another pattern; Hope you understand what I am try to say and hope it helps...happy crocheting.

I contactd Leisure Arts little chat pop up thing but I haven't heard anything, do you have any ideas on how to get n touch with them? My brother is really insistent on a cardigan (I'm ready to try to teach him!!), I thouht maybe I could get the one someone else suggested. It was Fisherman crochet for the family, leafle #151. But like I said they haven't replied.

I just purchase that one online through Amazon.com from Celebration Inc. Lovely patterns. Wish I could copy the pages and get them to you.
