I have heard of people making at least 30% for commissions on crochet projects. Some people even double the cost of their supplies and use this as a figure. Others will chime in as well!

I have always hear it was double of what it cost to make something..not sure if that applies to everything though..sometime that would be pricey. When it comes to crocheting or knitting ..or even hand made products..you must remember that you also have to figure in the time it take to make something..not only are the supplies valuable..but so is your time..would you buy your tools and work for free on a job?

I have been sellling some items this past year. As a baseline I usually check Etsy and Ebay to see what similar items sell for. At the very least I double or triple the amount of cost depending on how long an item takes to crochet. Hope this helps you.
