Finally, here is the catnip mouse

I dont know if I designed this or if because it is such a simple pattern it just stuck in my head. So just in case, I am not claiming any credit for it

Using worsted weight yarn and a G hook, I start out with chain 2, 3 single crochet in second chain from hook, chain 1 and turn. single crochet in each stitch across, ch1 and turn, now it really gets easy - increase in first and last stitch on this and every other row, chain 1 and turn, on the in between rows just single crochet across. I continue until I have 13 or 15 stitches across, then fold in half and slip stitch along long side to create a cone. Stuff about 1/2 way with polyfil, add a couple pinches of catnip, finish stuffing and sew shut. join yarn with slip stitch at back end and chain stitch tail to whatever length you want. Simple, yes? You can also put a bell inside, with or without the catnip, or leave out bell and catnip for a great small dog toy.
