    WIP and UFO"S

I just put this post on the wrong Thread. I put it on the Links and Pattern one and don't know how to get it off of there. Anyway, do you have WIP and UFO"s around your chair? I have 3 scarves I'm working on and just started an afghan, I have yarn and patterns for a couple more projects I want to do. Am preparing for our winter which is from now til March or April. Don't like to go places when the weather is bad. Thank Goodness for this site, computers and handwork.

I wish I was like so many of you. I can't work on but one thing at a time. I HAVE to finish what I start before I can do anything else. So if I start an afghan I will be working on it until I'm done. I can't go from one thing to another my mind just refuses. lol

I have a hat and scarf started, I hate crocheting scarves especially with the cotton yarn, this is what Tom's niece wanted.. So when I start getting frustrated I start a Hat, love doing them, they are so easy..

Faye, I think your way might be the best way. I went to my portable bldg yesterday to 'visit' my yarn, and found 2 afghans that need to be finished. They are very pretty, so that is something I want to get done this winter also. My office-computer room now has several storage bins of crochet stuff in it. A lot of the yarn I visited came to the house with me.

I have never made a hat. For some reason they scare me. Look very diffucult.

I have a sweet pastel green baby blanket that needs to be finished. It'll be a gift that I can give for a baby shower! Also, I need to start some hats for charity.

Magnolia Blossom, I assure you that a hat is easy. It was the first project I made as a beginner crocheter 1 yr 11 months ago!

    Kindness begets kindness. Enjoy life!

They are so easy to do, just find one that says Easy or Beginners you won't have any problems.. That is what a lot of people think but so far I find them the easiest thing to do.. And most rewarding because I make Chemo Hats.

Meerkat, with your words of encouragement I am going to try a hat as my first project.

I only have 2 WIPs just now- an afghan I'm making for my daughter's MIL and a sweater for my soon to be 4year old grandson!! I'm taking a break from making stuff for the business right now!
