Who has a Camcorder and do you like it?

Happy New Year, Everybody!!!

I am in the market for a nice and budget friendly camcorder. I tried making videos with my camcorder, but they stink, LOL Very choppy and not good at all.

What kind do you have and what do you like about it?

Also, my computer is Linux and I am finding that lots of camcorders are compatible with Linux.

Hmm, I have one that has been up in the closet for some time because it is about 15 years old and we can't find a cord that goes to it. In the future, I would love to get one that is smaller and use it for trips or vacations at least.
