Hi: My name is Karen, but that was taken, so I took my dog's name. I live in Las Vegas and joined a crochet class when I moved here. We do a lot of crocheting for hospitals and rest homes and just love finding new patterns, etc for the people. This past Christmas we crocheted 163 items for a local rest home and enjoyed every minute doing it. Crocheting is great therapy. Very relaxing.

I've been crocheting for 40 years, and I've learned more since I joined this site than I did in the forty odd years since I've taught myself crocheting.
