Looking for a curtain design for my son's room, any suggestions?

Will you be using thread? I suggest size 10 and getting the big 2730 yard. Micheal's has the best price, even better w/ the 50% coupon. Now for what design....does he like sports or boats etc.....I would also add that doing the desgin w/ filet crochet. Happy crocheting.

I have looked for crochet curtain patterns for boys and did not come up with anything that was not lacy. I wonder if you could find a lightweight afghan pattern that you like and create a set of panels from it? You could also incorporate the boy's design that you want. It couldn't be too heavy though unless your window is on the smaller side.

Great suggestions Barbara. I think a filet design would be great maybe even in a boy color, too. Good luck, can't wait to see the pictures.

OK...how old is he? How big is the window that you want to crochet for?

it is a bay window. 48" by 62" my son is 36.

This helps...how about a nature scene? And you can make it half way, like a kitchen one....hope this helps.
