Need help evening out row
I am finishing another box stitch blanket and instead of buying more yarn, I decided to just make a throw out of it. My problem is I don't know how to even out my last row so that when I turn it lengthways, both sides will have straight edges. I have tried to use both sc & dc but it didn't look quite right. I need help with how to even out this edge.

Might Slip stitches work?

what I decided to do was go around the entire blanket with the 2 lesser colors I used so none of the sides have straight edges

Oh I got mixed up. Was thinking of another pattern - basket weave not your box pattern as shown. With that I did go all around the whole thing too! Anyway, your happy now!

yes for some reason I thought basket weave too....hmmm I'm not sure...beside going around the whole thing, I would sc because it looks really nice and straight. Happy crocheting; great job btw.

It looks great! I really like the box stitch. It shows my ignorance I didn't know that was the name of the stitch but I have always admired it. What a great job you did on your throw. I really like it.
