Howdy! ;)
I'm a mom of four and I've been crocheting since I was in college. I just ordered my free Knook starter kit, which I learned about through the emails I've been receiving from Crochet Talk. I can't wait til it arrives! My mom had attempted to teach me how to knit, but it was at the absolute worst time she could have chosen (my junior theme in high school). I was so stressed out about that foreboding assignment that I couldn't concentrate on anything else. She had told me that she'd never offer to teach me how to knit and she's kept her promise, but she attempted to teach daughter how to knit and succeeded in teaching my niece... So...the Knook looks like it will take my existing crocheting skills and marry them with the art of knitting. I can't wait to try it out. And thanks to this website for hipping me to only having to pay for the shipping on that starter kit!
