just joined - need help with beanie!!
good morning everyone,
my name is lori and i just joined the site. i've been crocheting on and off for more than a few years using pretty basic stitches. i must admit i have a hard time following instructions for some patterns and am easily frustrated. i like to crochet blankets, hats, scarves and sometimes pillows.
right now i am attempting to crochet a beanie brim hat for my daughter. i followed the instructions (took 4 rip outs) and all of a sudden the circle got all wavy. then my hands started to hurt so i stopped.
does anyone know how to crochet a beanie brim hat?

Hello,
Welcome to the group! I have not done beanies, but we do have some on site that do. I am assuming that you are using written instructions. Sometimes, if you can watch a video on what you are doing it will be helpful.
Please let us know what you need help with and we will do our best to help!

lorisue, I have made beanies that don't have a brim and ones that you crocheted the brim first and ones that you made the brim last so is this for a male or female, do you want a big brim? how big is the head of the person you are making this for? What weight of yarn do you have? Let us know!
