    Baby basketweave blanket for charity

I've just completed this pink baby blanket for charity. Some pink yarn was donated to our group. This yarn is at least 40 years old. It was a bit scratchy, but I think it will soften up after I was it.

Great job! I have not learned this stitch yet, but I think it looks so cool! One day I will work on a project with the basketweave stitch!

Love it!! Have you been following the red heart super saver thread? We discuss ways to soften yarn and you might enjoy reading them. I love the stitch and I want to learn it too. Good job!!!
