I am a newbie, but have been crocheting for years. Right now, I have been making covers for Christmas balls. Then when company comes in, during the holidays, they can take a few home with them as a keepsake! When I crochet, feel closer to my mother. I am from Portsmouth, Va.

Hi and a big welcome to our group. We love pictures, so if you want to post some things you have done, we would love to see them. I was given some thread and have made a few covers for christmas balls. I didn't have any luck with a pattern so I just made a simple one.. Maybe I was just in to much of a hurry. I've been working on alot of hats and scarfs for christmas gifts. when I'm done, I will try out the patterns again. lol
